Meet Farmer Stefan
I have loved raising vegetables (and eating them!) since I was a young child growing up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I believe that thriving communities need nutritious, flavorful food and am thrilled to grow produce for you! My wife Anna helps in the gardens when she isn’t teaching or playing piano.

I learned most of my farming experience by working on organic farms since I was a child and studying organic, biodynamic and natural growing methods. While not certified organic, I only use natural and organic fertilizers for growing my vegetables. Most of our pests are kept away by growing healthy plants with compost, reduced tillage, by encouraging birds and beneficial bugs and using white floating row covers to create a physical barrier between the plants and pests. Limited organic pesticides are used. Feel free to ask me any questions about how I grow your vegetables!
